COMPANY PURCHASES LOCAL HOME AND PLANS CONVERSION
TO GUEST ACCOMODATIONS
Kettle Falls, Washington, November 25, 2001
A local company has purchased a property at 3661 Rockcut Road in Kettle Falls, Washington state.
The company is converting the private residence into guest accommodations. The 3000 square foot octagon-shaped house built of 12” Montana log construction will be available for short-term rentals beginning December 1, 2001. A company spokesman recently stated: “The location is really wonderful—-just perfect for all kinds of events, romantic getaways, weddings, family reunions, small group retreats or any other special event people might have in mind.”
Amenities include:
-Four bedrooms and two full baths
-Upper bedrooms with private fireplaces and decks overlooking the Kettle River
-Sauna in upper bedroom
-Four fireplaces created with local stone
-Secluded location on the Kettle River with private swim beach
-8 acres of expansive lush, green lawns amid towering pines
The spokesperson also stated: “With the beautiful Kettle River at your doorstep, the views are spectacular from every angle. It’s an ideal place to get away from it all.” Canoeing, fishing, and other water pursuits await you on the river, or local guides are available for woodland hikes. Bring your camera, as wildlife such as deer, elk and black bear are abundant in the Kettle River Valley. “The Kettle River Range boasts some of the best remaining virgin forests in the United States.” Said Bob Freimark, northwest regional director of the Wilderness Society.
Please call 509-684-5334 for reservations and/or a quote. River Bend Lodge is approximately a 2.5 hours drive north of Spokane, Washington.
